You're marketing your business. You're posting on Instagram. You're trying to get more visible. You're saving content ideas, using hooks, watching what other people in your industry are doing and trying to figure out what will finally make people pay attention.
And still..... your calendar isn't as full as you want it to be.
The inquiries aren't consistent. The local followers aren't growing.
The people in your city still don't seem to know what you do or why they should choose you.
So your head is spinning...
"What am I missing?"
"Do I need to post more?"
"Do I need better content ideas?"
"Is it my hooks?"
"Why does everyone else seem to have it figured out?"
I want you to come to this training before you spend another month trying to fix your marketing with advice that was never really made for a local service business.
Save My Free Seat!Your business doesn't need random people. It needs local people.
A lot of marketing advice sounds great until you try to apply it to a business that needs real people in your city to book or buy with you.
You're told to chase reach. Follow the trends. Use the viral hooks. Post more. Give value.
Just dance.
But when you're a local service business owner, it comes down to:
Is your marketing helping the right people in your city find you, know you, remember you, trust you, refer you and buy with you?
Because that's the part most generic and online marketing advice skips.
And that's exactly what we're going to talk about in this free training.
In this free training, you'll learn
Why more reach, views and followers don't always turn into local clients
You'll see why your content can look like it's working on Instagram while your business results stay the same.
Why your marketing may be making you blend in with everyone else in your industry
You'll understand why so many local service providers end up sounding the same and why that makes it harder for local buyers to choose you.
Why helpful content isn't always enough to create clients
You'll see why educating, inspiring and giving value can still leave people unclear on what you sell, who it's for and how to take the next step.
What has to change if you want your marketing to create local clients
You'll leave knowing where your marketing may be breaking down and what needs to shift so more people in your city can find you, follow you, remember you and book or buy.
This is for you if...
- You're posting consistently but not getting consistent inquiries.
- You're getting some likes, views or followers, but they're not turning into clients.
- You feel like your content sounds like every other person in your industry.
- You've tried templates, prompts, hooks and content calendars, but you still don't feel like your marketing is making you the obvious choice.
- You're afraid of being too salesy, so you mostly educate, inspire or give tips.
- You know people in your city need what you offer, but they don't seem to know you're the person to hire.
- You're tired of guessing what to post and hoping something finally clicks.
- You want your marketing to actually lead to more local followers, inquiries, referrals, bookings and sales.
Most marketing advice wasn't made for local business owners.
You're not trying to become a full-time content creator.
You're not trying to reach millions of strangers.
You're trying to grow the go-to business in your city.
And that changes everything.
And once you see your marketing through that lens, you can finally stop asking why isn't this working and start seeing what needs to change.
Meet Your Host
Hi, I'm Leslie Presnall. I'm the founder of The Localpreneur Academy, host of the Grow Your Local Business podcast and I help local service business owners become the fully booked local go-to.
Before I ever taught local marketing, I built a local business that depended on real people in my city showing up. I needed them to know about my events. I needed them to buy tickets, products and services. I needed them to tell their friends. I needed them to come back again.
That experience taught me very quickly that local marketing is different. Getting attention online is one thing. Getting people in your city to know you, remember you, trust you, refer you and actually book or buy is a completely different skill.
Once I learned how to create that kind of local demand, I built a local community of more than 1,000 women, sold out events, created waitlists, left my job and grew a multiple six figure business.
Now, through The Localpreneur Academy, I've helped hundreds of local service business owners across dozens of industries become more known, more trusted, more referred and more booked in their own cities.
