FREE GUIDE: HOW TO GROW YOUR LOCAL INSTAGRAM FOLLOWING

Today I want to share a little hack to increase local buzz around your business.

I'm challenging you to partner with your own network and friends.

This is a great alternative to working with local influencers (or something you could do in addition to working with influencers).

Over the past few weeks, I've created several videos around working with local influencers:

But I also know that

(1) not all of us are ready to work with influencers

(2) not everyone lives in a big city or town that has influencers or ones that are good fit and

(3) even if you are working with influencers you can still use your own network of friends and family to help spread the word about your business online.

I've recently talked about how everyone is an influencer.

If someone has a social media platform, and they're posting and sharing, then they are influencing people.

I used the example, if my friend only has a few Instagram followers but she posts about a new restaurant in town, she's likely going to influence me to want to try that restaurant.

We are all influenced by people who are close to us and in our circle.

Some of your biggest supporters and cheerleaders are the people who are closest to you and already in your network.

So if they're sharing about you, then you just reached their extended network as well.

Make Your List

Make a list of family members, friends, co-workers, and even past customers who could be good people to help spread the word about your business.

Consider people you've met at local networking events or connections on Facebook.

Select your top choices and treat these people as your influencers.

Reach Out To Them

Next, you'll each out to them and offer them your product or service in exchange for them to share with their friends on social media.

Or you could ask them to leave a review or write a testimonial.

Be honest about what you're doing.

Tell them you're trying to generate local buzz around your business, and you'd love to treat them in exchange for their help.

You could also use this as a chance to ask them for any referrals.

You may be surprised by how many people will share about your business if you ask or who might send customers your way in the future.

The main thing is just to reach out and ask them for their support.

You never know if you don't ask.

Generate even more buzz

I know you're ready to generate even more buzz in your local business so you can have a steady stream of clients.

In order to do that you need a streamlined strategy to bring in local clients and be consistently booked out with your services.

This is why I created The Localpreneur Bootcamp.

It’s 10 weeks to become THE local go-to in your industry with a steady stream of clients using my Localpreneur Marketing Method.

We do it in 3 key phases:

First, you'll shift and step into being the local go-to in your industry.

Then, you'll show up and sell with compelling content online.

Finally, you'll generate never-ending local leads with ease.

Right now, growing your following feels slow.

You don’t have a repeatable system in place, so you’re never quite sure where your next client will come from.

I’ll show you how to get a system into place that works for you. You’ll wake up with new inquiries, bookings, followers and subscribers.
